The East and North Finland EU office in Brussels is searching for two trainees for the autumn period 2017

The East and North Finland EU office in Brussels regularly employs trainees. The search is on again, ending 11/4/2017. Would you be the one suitable for the post?

The East and North Finland EU office is offering two training placements for students of universities or universities of applied science. The duration of a traineeship is from four to six months, from July- September 2017 and continuing until Christmas.

Trainees shall have regional knowledge of Eastern and Northern Finland, good communication skills as well as strong oral and written skills in English language. Other language skills, especially French skills, will be considered as a benefit. Interest in the European Union and international issues and regional development is also important. The office is seeking two motivated and spontaneous trainees, who are interested in working in an international environment.

No salary is paid for the trainees, but they are offered a dormitory room with full up keeping. It is required that the training period is included as a part of the trainee’s studies and that an Erasmus scholarship or other university internship grant is granted for the trainee. Further information about the grant terms and conditions can be requested from the trainee candidates’ own universities.

The header of the message shall  indicate that the message contains an application for an internship and also contain the name of the applicant. The application shall indicate if the applicant is willing to start in July, August r September.
